1st February 2017: first for the year

Happy New Year Everyone!!!!  Just a reminder that Parentline will no longer be facilitating Paint and Play in 2017.  The ACT Playgroups Association will facilitate it and keep it going for the community.  Judy and her team are retiring.  However some of the team will help with the transition in 2017.  Thank you to all the families who have supported the team and other Paint and Play families over the past nine years.  We hope you will continue to do so for the new team.  Please come along and meet Lorraine from ACT Playgroups.

Perhaps you may like to become a volunteer at Paint and Play.

Lorraine's contact number at ACT Playgroups is 1800 171 882.  Her email is play@playgroupact.org.au

If you are in doubt about the weather please check with Playgroup's Facebook page to see if it has been cancelled

Once again a heart felt thank you to our Paint and Play community who rallied to donate to help keep our Parentline telephone support service to remain viable. Yes it is still going and we are hopeful that funding will be found for another organisation to take it over. Thank you to everyone who circulated the ABC Online News Service interview to help gain community support.  This is the link to the interview we had with the ABC Online News Service. Please share it with your friends and community.   http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-06-16/parentline-act-facing-closure-after-nearly-40-years/7515492

Thank you to Penny from the ABC for your support.
